ISSAI Voice Studio is a speech-synthesis and dubbing service (ISSAI, Nazarbayev University). This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
In short
- Your files and text are yours. We do not use them to train models.
- We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We run no ad or analytics trackers.
- You can delete any project — the source file, the transcript and the finished voiceover go with it.
1.What we collect
- Account: first name, last name and email — from sign-up, or from signing in with Google.
- Profile: date of birth and interface language — only if you enter them.
- Your content: the audio and video you upload, the text you type, and the results — transcript, translation and synthesized voiceover.
- Service usage: your project history, the minutes charged against your plan, notifications.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, request times — these land in the server logs and are needed for security and diagnostics.
2.Why we use it
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- To do the job itself: recognize the speech, translate the text, synthesize the voiceover.
- To show you your project history and give you access to it.
- To count the minutes on your plan and process payment.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
3.Your files and text
This is the section that matters most if you only read one.
- The files you upload and the text you enter belong to you.
- We process them automatically, and only to carry out your request.
- We do not use your content to train models.
- Our staff do not look at your content — with two exceptions: you contacted support and asked us to look into something, or the law requires it.
- By uploading a file you confirm you have the right to use it. Do not upload someone else's voice without their consent.
4.Storage and deletion
- We keep your content for as long as it's needed to run the service and your project history.
- You can delete any project from your history — the source file, the transcript and the result are deleted with it.
- To delete your account entirely, write to us. We will erase your data, except what we are legally required to keep (payment records, for example).
5.Who we share it with
- We do not sell your data.
- We share it only with the providers the service cannot run without — hosting and payment processing — and only as far as necessary.
- We may disclose data where the law explicitly requires it.
6.Cookies
We use essential cookies only: they hold your session (so you don't have to sign in again), your interface language and your theme.
We run no advertising or analytics trackers.
7.Security
- Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and API access uses short-lived tokens.
- Access to the infrastructure is limited to a small number of staff.
- No system is perfectly secure, so please don't upload material you cannot afford to have exposed.
8.Your rights
To exercise any of these, write to us and we'll respond.
- Get a copy of your data.
- Correct your name, date of birth and language — right in your profile.
- Delete individual projects, or your whole account.
- Withdraw consent and stop using the service.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed, and we'll announce anything substantial in the service.
